LISA – Our solidarity project

“Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world,” said Nelson Mandela. At SelkInk, we want to play our part in the mosaic of change.

What is LISA? LISA is a solidarity project born from the desire to use the power of stories to create bridges and connections between different realities, places, and times. It’s about transforming solidarity into concrete action.

Through collaborations with organizations working to promote education for children in developing countries, we aim to collect stories, texts, and photographs… and transform them!

Everything collected will be edited, laid out, and published in an anthology available for purchase worldwide. A portion of the proceeds from sales will go to our partner organizations.

LISA seeks to give a voice to stories that often reach us only in tragic forms through the media. It targets both young and adult readers, guiding them on a journey to discover the realities of children from other parts of the world.

Each volume follows the journey of Lisa, a curious girl who meets children from different cultures and collects their stories, drawings, and memories. The books will be available in both Italian and the original language, enhancing the diversity and uniqueness of the material.
